Baseball Recap: Highland Springs Takes a Loss

Highland Springs fell victim to Maggie Walker and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to Maggie Walker. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Springers have suffered against Maggie Walker since March 19, 2015.

Highland Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Maggie Walker, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Highland Springs will head out to challenge Meadowbrook at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Monarchs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.72 runs per game on average), something the Springers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Maggie Walker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
