Baseball Recap: Gibson County Comes Up Short

Gibson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to the Westview Chargers. Pioneers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Chargers since on Tuesday.

Gibson County's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Westview, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Looking ahead, Gibson County will be playing in front of their home fans against Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westview, they will face off against Huntingdon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
