Centre's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Little River on Friday. They were outmatched by the Redskins at home and fell 32-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Redskins are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Burlingame at home against Madison/Hamilton on Friday as the team secured a 66-16 victory. Fans of the Bearcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Burlingame's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jd Tyson, who threw for 253 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 85 yards and three touchdowns. Tyson is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Dane Winters was Tyson's top target, picking up 168 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
