Basketball Recap: St. Michael the Archangel Takes a Loss

St. Michael the Archangel was the 33-17 winner over Grace Prep when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Michael the Archangel Warriors received a blow on Friday as they fell 45-30 to Grace Prep. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, St. Michael the Archangel still got an impressive performance from Janaye Martinez, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 15 boards. Martinez has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 42 times she's played. Jennifer Love-Villatoro was another key player, putting up three points and eight boards.

St. Michael the Archangel's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Grace Prep, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

As of now, neither St. Michael the Archangel nor Grace Prep have any future games scheduled.
