Baseball Recap: Pulaski Comes Up Short

Pulaski was the 6-4 winner over Green Bay Preble when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Raiders took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Red Raiders have lost by exactly three runs.

Pulaski saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braun Wotruba, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Pulaski has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Green Bay Preble, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

While Pulaski had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
