Baseball Recap: Wausau West Takes a Loss

Wausau West was the 6-2 winner over Stevens Point when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors lost 14-2 to the Panthers on Thursday.

Wausau West saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Graveen, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Wausau West has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Stevens Point, their record now sits at 9-7.

Looking ahead, Wausau West will head out on the road to take on Medford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stevens Point, they will be playing in front of their home fans against La Crosse Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
