Basketball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

If Cherokee was riding high fresh off their 64-37 takedown of Woodstock on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell 70-62 to the North Paulding Wolfpack on Tuesday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for North Paulding, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Cherokee will venture away from home to face off against Etowah at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Paulding, they will host Marietta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolfpack will need to watch out since the Blue Devils have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
