Candor extended their winning streak to 13 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Malley Heidl. The Coyotes put the hurt on the Odessa-Montour Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday for which the team can thank Heidl, who had 18 assists and six aces. Heidl is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Candor was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-14.

Candor's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Odessa-Montour, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Candor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Corning-Painted Post on the 27th. As for Odessa-Montour, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Campbell-Savona at 7:00 p.m. on October 6.
