Volleyball Recap: Arroyo Valley Hawks vs. Summit SkyHawks
Arroyo Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Summit SkyHawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the SkyHawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.
The final score came out to 25-11, 25-27, 25-9, 25-13.
Summit was led to victory by Christian Salivio and Luke Bio. Salivio had 22 digs and two aces, while Bio had 22 digs and six aces. Salivio is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Sebastian Gaviria also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.
Arroyo Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Summit, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-7.
Arroyo Valley has already played their next game (against Rialto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Summit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Rim of the World on the 11th.
