Softball Recap: Berkeley Prep Victorious

The Berkeley Prep Buccaneers beat the River Ridge Royal Knights 7-2 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

Ella Malin was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Quinn, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Berkeley Prep's record now sits at 10-5. As for River Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Coming up, Berkeley Prep will welcome Steinbrenner at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for River Ridge, they will square off against Osceola at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Royal Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
