Softball Preview: Millry Wildcats vs. Jackson Aggies
The Millry Wildcats will be taking part in a tournament against the Jackson Aggies at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Millry will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Millry is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past University Charter 14-3 on Tuesday.
Lilly Doggette made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
