Preview: Highlands Ranch Falcons vs. Castle View Sabercats
The Highlands Ranch Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Castle View Sabercats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Highlands Ranch is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, Highlands Ranch took a serious blow against Mountain Vista, falling 48-8. While losing is never fun, Highlands Ranch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Mountain Vista is ranked sixth).
The losing side was boosted by Jack Kearns, who picked up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Castle View came up short against Rock Canyon on Friday and fell 10-3. Castle View has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losses dropped Highlands Ranch to 1-8 and Castle View to 6-3.
Highlands Ranch came up short against Castle View when the teams last played back in October of 2022, falling 23-14. Can Highlands Ranch avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
