Softball Recap: Chisholm Trail Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Chisholm Trail won the last time they faced Irving and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chisholm Trail Rangers came out on top against the Irving Tigers by a score of 8-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

Chisholm Trail's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Irving, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season.

Chisholm Trail will welcome Azle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Irving, they will take on Richland at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
