Basketball Game Preview: Kindred Vikings vs. Valley City Hi-Liners

The Kindred Vikings will take on the Valley City Hi-Liners in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Monday, Kindred was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-52 to Central Cass. The loss was the Vikings' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Valley City put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 56-35 margin over Oak Grove Lutheran. The Hi-Liners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

Valley City's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Kindred, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Kindred skirted past Valley City 75-72 when the teams last played back in January. Will Kindred repeat their success, or does Valley City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
