Baseball Game Preview: Auburn Trojans vs. Tahoma Bears

For the second straight game, Auburn will face off against Tahoma. The Trojans will welcome the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Auburn has struggled recently with eight losses in a row, while Tahoma will arrive with three straight victories.

Auburn came up short against Tahoma on Monday, falling 13-2.

For Tahoma's part, Bryson Leach looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Leach is becoming a predictor of the Bears' success: when he allows at most two hits the team is undefeated (and 6-7-1 when he doesn't).

At the plate, Tahoma got a massive performance out of Parker Peschel, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave Peschel a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Lee, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Tahoma always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Tahoma's win bumped their record up to 12-7-1. As for Auburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
