Independence extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from James Davis. The Independence Patriots managed a 60-55 win over the Washington Rams on Wednesday thanks in part to Davis, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last four times he's played.

Independence has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Washington, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-7.

Independence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-31 victory against Greenway on the 1st. As for Washington, they will welcome Copper Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Copper Canyon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
