Softball Recap: University Has No Trouble Against Ferris

University's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Ferris Saxons as they made off with a 17-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won ten matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

University is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Ferris, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. University will challenge rival Lewis & Clark at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ferris is set to take on their familiar foe Mead at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
