Baseball Recap: Inter-Lakes Takes a Loss

Inter-Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 6-2 to the Berlin Mountaineers. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mountaineers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Inter-Lakes saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danny Bean, who went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and one run. Brogan Donnelly was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Inter-Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Berlin, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inter-Lakes will square off against Gilford at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Berlin, they will take on Kennett at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
