Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Pointe Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Riverwalk Academy Lions 79-41. The Mariners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 27 points or more this season.

It was another big night for James Jacobs, who posted 32 points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Stewart Settle, who scored 13 points.

The win was the third in a row for Lake Pointe Academy, bringing their record for this year to 9-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Riverwalk Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
