Recap: Heritage Patriots vs. Loganville Red Devils
The Heritage Patriots were the 84-60 winner over the Loganville Red Devils when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Heritage fell 78-66 to Loganville on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the defeat, Heritage had strong showings from Kirk Seeley, who scored 21 points, and Donavyn Gates, who scored 16 points. The matchup was Seeley's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gary Oliver, who scored seven points.
Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Loganville, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Heritage will be home for the holidays to greet Stockbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Loganville will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lambert at 2:00 p.m. on December 28th. Lambert presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Loganville in Georgia (Lambert is ranked 85th, while Loganville is ranked 354th).
