Basketball Recap: Coventry Comes Up Short on the Road Against Louisville

Coventry kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 31-10 to the Louisville Leopards. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 54-42 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2020.

The win (which was Louisville's 13th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Coventry and Louisville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Comets see the court they'll take on Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Louisville, their break will end when they face West Branch at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
