Soccer Recap: Escambia Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Escambia hasn't lost a match since December 16, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pine Forest Eagles a 10-0 shutout. Given the Gators' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Eagles are ranked 529th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Escambia's offense was hitting Pine Forest from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Matilyn Holmes led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
