Soccer Recap: Hesston Falls Short Against Ranked Liberal

Hesston faced Liberal in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Swathers lost 6-0 to the Redskins. Hesston were not able to make up for their defeat to Liberal from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Hesston has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Liberal, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Coming up, Hesston will be playing in front of their home fans against Augusta at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberal, they will head out on the road to challenge Dodge City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
