Basketball Recap: NC GBB Academy Skates Past Mount Zion Christian Academy with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Overhills, NC GBB Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 71-17 win over the Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Mighty Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

NC GBB Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Samira Shands out in front who went 6-for-11 on her way to 15 points. Alana Burroughs was another key player, shooting 55% from the field to rack up 15 points.
