Basketball Recap: Service Skates Past West Valley with Ease

Service won the last time they faced West Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Service Cougars breezed by the West Valley Wolf Pack to the tune of 68-23. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 27 points or more this season.

Service found their leader in sophomore Aryanna Watson, who posted 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Watson has scored all season. Karlierose Lealaisalanoa was another key player, putting up 12 points.

The win made it two in a row for Service and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for West Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Service and Homer will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for West Valley, they and Palmer will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
