Fife scaled the state rankings by moving to 129 from 166 this week, the biggest jump in 2A South Puget Sound. The Trojans climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Franklin Pierce 20-7.

Sumner extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Washington, 55-8. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Spartans.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Orting's Eddie Prong and Daniel Bessey have proven to be a lethal combination. Prong has thrown for 815 yards this season, while Bessey has 18 catches for 368 yards. White River's Keenan Fagan leads the league in rushing yards with 717.

A big matchup in 2A South Puget Sound this week will be when Fife takes on Sumner. Kent Nevin's team is currently in third, while Keith Ross' team is in first.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Trojans take on the Spartans. Fife has allowed 110 points this season, while Sumner has given up 84. The Trojans allowed 7 points last week as they bested the Cardinals.

The Patriots fell to the Spartans 55-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
