Soccer Game Recap: Norfolk Collegiate vs. Peninsula Catholic

After low-scoring totals in their previous six contests, Norfolk Collegiate brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They never let the Peninsula Catholic Knights get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Tuesday. The score was close at halftime, but Norfolk Collegiate pulled away in the second half with five goals.

Their offense was hitting Peninsula Catholic from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Keeley Boone led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Norfolk Collegiate's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3-1 and their overall record up to 2-6-2. As for Peninsula Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
