Softball Preview: Pearce Mustangs vs. Highland Park Scots

Meanwhile, even though Richardson scored an imposing ten runs on Tuesday, Highland Park still came out on top. Highland Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Richardson and snuck past 12-10.

Highland Park got a massive performance out of Faith Horner, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Kathryn Joiner, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5.

Pearce's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Highland Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season.

Pearce skirted past Highland Park 10-9 when the teams last played back in February. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Joiner, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-5.
