Soccer Recap: Batesburg-Leesville Takes a Loss

Batesburg-Leesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mid-Carolina Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mid-Carolina this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in March.

Batesburg-Leesville's loss dropped their record down to 4-14-1. As for Mid-Carolina, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Coming up, Batesburg-Leesville will challenge Swansea at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mid-Carolina, they will head out on the road to challenge Chester at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
