Baseball Recap: Louisville Takes a Loss

Louisville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Alliance, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Leopards fell just short of the Aviators by a score of 3-1 on Friday. If the Leopards were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to the Aviators when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Louisville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Rice, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Louisville and nudges their season record down to 11-13. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Alliance, their record now sits at 18-7-1.

As of now, neither Louisville nor the Aviators have any future games scheduled.
