Softball Game Preview: Harbor Springs Rams vs. Cheboygan Chiefs

The Harbor Springs Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Cheboygan Chiefs at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Harbor Springs hasn't scored more than a single run for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Boyne City hit Harbor Springs with a 11-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams came up short against the Ramblers, falling 16-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cheboygan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past Charlevoix 12-2 on Thursday. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Chiefs this season.

Jenna Dodder was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

With the victory, Cheboygan broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10. As for Harbor Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
