Baseball Game Preview: Interlachen Rams vs. Keystone Heights Indians

Interlachen is 0-6 against Keystone Heights since April of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Indians at 7:00 p.m.

Interlachen is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against St. Joseph Academy on Monday. They lost 8-2 to the Fighting Flashes.

Meanwhile, Keystone Heights came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Baker County on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since March 7, 2025.

Ryder Trull spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Destin Harnage was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Keystone Heights kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.

Keystone Heights' record now sits at 5-13. As for Interlachen, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Interlachen might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Keystone Heights in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
