Volleyball Recap: Wisner-Pilger Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wisner-Pilger came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Norfolk Catholic Knights, falling 3-0. The Gators have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-7, 25-13.

Charli Jacobs paced Wisner-Pilger's offense, picking up six kills. Jacobs got some help from Ramsey Arduser and her 11 assists. Jesa Montgomery controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Reese Timmerman was the offensive standout of the match as she had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last ten matchups.

Wisner-Pilger's defeat dropped their record down to 14-20. As for Norfolk Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 25-5.
