Softball Recap: Rockwood Comes Up Short

Rockwood lost against Greenback two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell 12-7 to the Cherokees. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rockwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Greenback, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockwood will take on Sale Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenback, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Sweetwater at 5:30 p.m. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Cherokees surely won't give up without a fight.
