Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Miller's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Miller won the last time they faced Platte/Geddes and Jolie Palmer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Rustlers put the hurt on the Black Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday for which the team can thank Palmer, who had 12 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.

While Miller won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19, 25-21.

Miller is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Platte/Geddes, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Miller will take on Wolsey-Wessington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Platte/Geddes, they will square off against Chamberlain at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
