Softball Recap: Colonial Forge Takes a Loss

Colonial Forge lost against Stafford on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly five runs.

Colonial Forge dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Stafford, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Colonial Forge will be playing in front of their home fans against North Stafford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stafford, they will venture away from home to take on Brooke Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Black Hawks at the right time seeing as the Black Hawks are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
