After a string of ten wins, the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Middletown by a score of 45-42. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Monroe-Woodbury has scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Monroe-Woodbury lost, one person who can't be blamed is Christopher Pearson. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Monroe-Woodbury will head out on the road to take on Warwick at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
