Football Recap: Brazos Christian Eagles vs. Sacred Heart Tigers
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brazos Christian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Sacred Heart Tigers, posting a 52-7 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by 26 points or more this season.
Brazos Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hudson Jacobus, who threw for 233 yards and four TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Jacobus a new career-high in passer rating (165.2). Micah Saxe was another key receiver, picking up 146 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Brazos Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 228 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
