Recap: Eastside Tigers vs. Franklin Warriors
The Eastside Tigers entered their tilt with the Franklin Warriors with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Eastside managed a 63-58 victory over Franklin on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Eastside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyrone Washam, who scored nine points along with six assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jahaan Green, who scored 18 points.
Eastside's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Bishop Eustace Prep at 6:15 p.m. on January 30th. Franklin will take on Robbinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
