 Pearce extended their postseason success on Friday against Lamar. They came out on top against the Lamar Vikings by a score of  6-2. The  victory was nothing new for Pearce as they're now sitting on eight straight.
  AJ Ripley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Natanael Melendez, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sam Kinder, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 On Lamar's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Trey Keith, who  went 1-for-1 with  an  RBI.
 Pearce is  on a roll lately: they've  won 16 of their last 17 matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 23-14 record  this season. As for Lamar, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 14-17.
 Pearce will take on Boyd on Saturday. Pearce is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road. Lamar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
