Coram Deo Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Temple Christian Eagles on the road by a 48-31 margin. One positive for the Lions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Temple Christian found their leader in sophomore A Richie, who posted 17 points. B Esskew was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Coram Deo Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Temple Christian, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coram Deo Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Meyer at 10:30 a.m. on December 28th. As for Temple Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lake Country Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
