Soccer Recap: Providence Hall Comes Up Short

Providence Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Providence Hall couldn't quite close it out.

Providence Hall's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Utah Military Academy - Hill Field, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.

Coming up, Providence Hall will face off against Juab at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Juab's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Utah Military Academy - Hill Field, they will welcome American Prep WV at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Utah Military Academy - Hill Field will be up against American Prep WV's rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.85 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
