Softball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Kilties vs. Classical Purple
Mt. Pleasant had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Classical Purple by a score of 15-14. Mt. Pleasant was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Classical apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.
For Classical's part, the team relied heavily on Mia Amaral, who scored three runs and stole four bases off of two hits. Gabrielle Rodriguez was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base off of one hit.
Mt. Pleasant will head out on the road to square off against Juanita Sanchez Complex at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Classical, they will be playing at home against Times Squared Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
