Football Game Recap: Elmer L. Meyers vs. Mid Valley

Things haven't been easy for Mid Valley, and their matchup on Saturday only extended their streak of losses to five. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-42 walloping at Elmer L. Meyers's hands. The state rankings had actually given Mid Valley a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

The loss dropped Mid Valley's record to 1-7. The win bumped Elmer L. Meyers' record up to 5-3.

Next week Mid Valley take on Tunkhannock at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Mid Valley and three for Tunkhannock. As for Elmer L. Meyers, they will face off against Holy Redeemer. Holy Redeemer are limping into the match on a eight-game losing streak.
