Heppner had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Grant Union Prospectors with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Heppner's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Grant Union, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heppner will welcome Weston-McEwen at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
