Baseball Recap: Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Valley Christian was the 5-2 winner over Village Christian when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Defenders fell 8-3 to the Crusaders on Friday.

Austin Abrahams was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Seth Dahlenburg was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Valley Christian now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Village Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against Whittier Christian on the 7th. As for Village Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-0 defeat against Maranatha on the 8th.
