Volleyball Game Preview: Kimball Longhorns vs. Morrill Lions

The Kimball Longhorns will face off against the Morrill Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kimball will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Potter-Dix, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Longhorns had just enough and edged out the Coyotes 2-1. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Coyotes recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kimball was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 20-28, 25-15, 25-11.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Morrill took on Mitchell on Tuesday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers.

While Morrill won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 27-25, 25-17.

Morrill's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Kimball, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
