Basketball Recap: Southside Christian Skates Past Spartanburg Christian Academy with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southside Christian). They claimed a resounding 81-44 win over the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Sabres with their most commanding win of the season.

Zane Hagy had an outrageously good game as he went 7 for 9 on his way to 21 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Bryson Duck was another key player, putting up seven points and five steals.

The victory (which was Southside Christian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
