Boiling Springs dropped their record down to 12-9 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (2-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-8 back in March.

Phoenix Houser was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Mason Labuda was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base.

As for East Pennsboro, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 22-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 8.8 runs thus far.

On East Pennsboro's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric Foster Jr., who went 1-for-2 with one double.

As of now, neither Boiling Springs nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
