Basketball Recap: Magnolia Science Academy Reseda Comes Up Short

Magnolia Science Academy Reseda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-53 back in January.

Magnolia Science Academy Reseda's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

As of now, neither Magnolia Science Academy Reseda nor Lake Balboa College Prep have any future games scheduled.
